Tasting: Solid Medium bodied wine. The Mencia wine grape are sourced from a 90-year-old vineyard and the reason why the wine is named "El Valao". On the nose, there are aromas of bright, ripe red fruits with spicy toasty notes. On the palate, the wine dry, medium-plus-bodied with good acidity and ripe red berry, balsamic, cedar spice and toasty oak flavours.
